As often as once a month you should be looking over the system to see if there are any observable leaks or problems. It’s a good idea to have professionals check the system pressure and efficiency every 3 - 6 months.
It’s recommended that irrigation systems be thoroughly audited every 3 to 5 years to make sure they’re operating at the right efficiency levels and not exceeding water usage standards. However, routine inspections and maintenance should be done more often.

Every soil type is compatible with some type of irrigation system. The type of system that can be used varies. Where a drip system works well on harder, more compact soils, a sprinkler system might be a better choice for sandy, uneven soil. Once we see the land you want to irrigate, we’ll be able to advise you about which system will work best.
